OYS has completed the delivery of the final elements of the structural hanger system which will define the One Bishopsgate Plaza at 150 Bishopsgate in the heart of London City. OYS was commissioned by Expanded Limited to design and manufacture the external structure to provide support between the main elevation glazed facades and floor slabs.
“One Bishopsgate Plaza is the first high-rise combined residential and hospitality development to be built in the city for many years and we are delighted to be a part of shaping the skyline in London for future generations,” comments Ian Crowden Technical Director at OYS. The building is 43-storeys high, will be home to 120 residences, and as well as retail, cafes and water features, it will be home to Europe’s and the UK’s first Pan Pacific Hotel, with a dedicated ballroom hosting banquets for up to 370 guests, a first for the Square Mile.
OYS has worked closely with the contractors and the architect to bring this concept to life and has delivered on time and in budget to the high standards, OYS is building its reputation on, under the OYS Architectural brand.
